There are lots of ways to build a website, from coding from scratch to simply using a pre-set template. So why do we choose WordPress?
If you’re looking to build a website yourself and you haven’t a clue about how to start, you’ll probably be more comfortable using a site like Wix where you can use their templates and play around with colours and fonts. The downside to this is that you have no access to the back-end of the site. So, if in the future, you wanted to add a specific function to the site, you’d have to start again on another platform.

Not only can you make use of plugins like elementor which provide templates and drag-and-drop customisation, but you also have access to the code of your website, meaning you can ask a developer to add a bespoke function if you need one.
